    Does SpinVox have the same features as my current Voicemail?
    Yes, and more! You can still personalise your greeting and go direct to the Voicemail you want to listen to using a quick-link™ feature.

    Do I have to change my mobile phone to use SpinVox?
    SpinVox works on any contract mobile phone that supports call diverts. If you are on Pay As You Go, you'll need to contact your Network Operator/Carrier to ask if they support call diverts. To use SpinVox on a fixed line or VoIP phone you can divert your phone manually to your SpinVox Voicemail number.

    How do I sign up?
    From the UK, you can get Voicemail through SpinVox using the following options:
    1. Sign up online
    2. Text VMAIL to 84004
    3. Call Customer Care on +44 870 033 7300

    How long will it take to get started?
    As soon as you create your account we'll send you an SMS with your set-up instructions. Please follow these instructions to activate your Voicemail through SpinVox box. From then on, any Voicemails will be converted to text and sent to your mobile phone as an SMS or emailed to you.

  • Getting Started

    I've texted VMAIL to 84004. What do I do next?
    Step 1: You will receive an SMS from SpinVox containing your Voicemail number. Dial this number and when prompted enter a PIN of your choice. You will then hear a recorded message telling you to hang up.
    Shortly afterwards you’ll receive another SMS confirming your activation code, your Voicemail number and your PIN.
    Step 2: Dial your activation code into your mobile phone exactly as it is in the SMS - it will look something like this **004*02079652000*11#. Include the '**’ and '#' characters. Then press [call/send] and watch your phone screen. It will display a message telling you that 'diverts are active' or similar.
    Step 3: Call your mobile number from another phone to leave yourself a test message. You will hear the standard SpinVox greeting, and then leave yourself a short message. Within minutes it will be converted and sent to you as an SMS.

    I haven't received the text message containing my PIN and my activation code. What do I do?
    Usually, your SMS is on its way, so all you need to do is simply wait for the message to arrive. However if you think the SMS is overdue, then call Customer Care on +44 870 033 7300.

    My activation code doesn't work. What do I do?
    Make sure that you are dialling the code into your mobile as if you were dialling a telephone number, including ALL of the stars (**) and the hash (#). Once dialled, press the call or send button to make a call.
    On some phones, if you attempt to dial the ** at the start of the code too quickly your phone will display a +. If this is the case, leave about a second between each button press.
    Some phones may display an error message such as 'unknown command' when the code is entered. This does not necessarily mean that it has failed. Please try the next step in the sign up process. If this works then the activation code was entered successfully.

    My activation code is too long for the screen. What do I do?
    The activation code to setup your mobile is 21 characters in length. Some mobile phones have a screen limit of only 20 characters. If this is the case, contact Customer Care on +44 870 033 7300.

    What if I don't complete the sign-up process, can I come back later?
    If you have completed the initial step and received the first SMS (containing your SpinVox Voicemail number) then you can carry out the instructions any time you wish, there is no need to do both steps immediately.

    My verification code isn't being accepted. Why is that?
    During the online sign-up process, your 6-digit verification code is sent as an SMS to your mobile phone – this happens when you reach the 'Confirmation' page. Verification codes are only valid for a limited period of time (approx. 30 minutes).If you have exceeded that time period then you will have to request a new one.
    The 'Resend verification code' button will only work after 10 minutes has passed since you started the process. If you request a new verification code, then your first verification code will no longer be accepted.

  • Travelling abroad

    Can I use SpinVox when I am abroad ('roaming')?
    Yes, if you have been issued with an international SpinVox Voicemail number. Please contact Customer Care on +44 870 033 7300 to set this up prior to your trip.
    Voicemail through SpinVox may save you money when you're travelling abroad as you won't have to pay the price of an international call to retrieve your Voicemail.
